Dorothy Jean Thomas

Dorothy Jean "Dot" Thomas, age 58, of Toledo, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, March 7, 2015. She was born in Hughes, Arkansas on January 6, 1957 to Denver and Pearlie Mae (Edwards) Thomas. Dot worked for Jeep-Chrysler for 30 years, she would have retired in April of this year and she was a member of the UAW Local 12. She was dedicated to her family; always put their needs before her own. Dot enjoyed her precious grandchildren and she will be dearly missed by those who loved her.

Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Larry Hillard; daughter, Octavia (Erie) Boles; son, Robert Thomas; seven grandchildren; sister, Debora Echols of Memphis, Tennessee; brothers, Joe L. (Betty) Thomas of West Memphis, Arkansas and G.L. (Hazel) Jones of Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, March 22, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Home Going Services will begin in the funeral home on Sunday at 3:00 p.m.
