Dorothy J. Rinker

Dorothy J. (Maze) Rinker went to be with the Lord on July 3rd, 2013 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on August 29th, 1936 to the late Oscar B and Beatrice G. Maze. She married her husband, Vince, who preceded her in death and together they raised a loving family. Her family was her pride and joy. She loved to fish and spend time at several lakes. She also loved to shop and dote on her grandchildren. She worked at General Mills for 28 years, retiring in 1994. While there she made many friends. She was affectionately known as "Dottie" by her family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Beatrice Maze; her loving husband of 31 years, Vince; brothers, Ira Maze and Eugene Maze. She is survived by her sons, Vince Jr., John and David and step-daughter, Sharon Underwood; grandchildren, Vince III, Kristen and Victoria; great-grandchildren, Tristin, Tatum and Kara. Also survived by her loving sisters, Marjorie Riley, Faith Gschwind, Elnora (Ernest) Jeffries and Dolores Hughes. Dorothy also had many loving nieces and nephews. She also had several lifelong friends whom she cared for deeply.

The family will receive guests on Monday, July 8, 2013 from 11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. at Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery, Sylvania, OH.
