Dorothy F. Cottrell, age 88, of Toledo, passed away March 24, 2016 at her home with her son by her side. Dorothy was born November 17, 1927 in Toledo to Henry and Frances (Majchszak) Krolak. She was employed by Lamson Bros. as a buyer for over 25 years and retired from JC Penny's in 1995. Dorothy was a life-member of the Women's Auxiliary of VFW #606 and a longtime member of the Cooley Canal Yacht Club.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 33 years, Elmer H. Cottrell and sister, Henrietta Drogmiller. She is survived by her loving son, Jeff (Debra) Smith, grandson, Jason (Cathy) Smith, and great grandchildren, Kacie, Tara and Brady, several nieces and nephews and her best friend, Lady.
