Dorothy Burford

Dorothy M. Burford, age 81, of Holland, passed away, Monday, November 5, 2007 at the Spring Meadows Assisted Living Facility in Holland. She was born on June 16, 1926 to John and Aniela (Pytel) Groch in Toledo. Dorothy loved needlework and up until 6 weeks ago she was still crocheting.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Phillip Burford and 6 sisters and 2 brothers. Dorothy is survived by her loving son: Paul (Janet) Burford; grandchildren: Angela (Joey), Jason (Janice), Michael and J. Peter (Kendal) and Brad; 5 great grandchildren; and sisters: Emily Krempa, and Wanda Boback.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, November 8, 2007 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 10:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. with a Funeral Service beginning at 12:30 p.m. Interment will follow in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Toledo.
