Doris Jean Woeller, age 87, of Toledo, passed away peacefully after a lengthy battle with dementia, Saturday, January 17, 2015 at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek surrounded by her loving family. She was born on December 19, 1927 to Harry and Alma (Allemier) Bryant in Fort Jennings. In her free time Doris enjoyed camping with family and her Amish friends at the Butler Mohican KOA, gardening and walking her dogs. She was also an avid University of Michigan fan and would never leave the house without her lipstick.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents along with her canine companions, Cleo, Maxi, Chessie and Hannah. She is survived by her loving husband of 60 years, Ernie; children, Kim Gillhouse and Kevin Woeller; grandchildren, Sarah and Jacob Gillhouse.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the wonderful caregivers at the Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek and Gentiva Hospice for the wonderful care they gave to Doris.
Memorial Services will be held later in the spring. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
