Doris J Parlette age 90, of Perrysburg, Ohio passed away peacefully on June 23, 2018, at the Manor of Perrysburg. Doris was born June 1, 1928, in Toledo, Ohio, the daughter of Herman and Harriett Seibold.
Doris graduated from Libbey High School. She met and married Marvin D. Parlette Sr. and had 3 children.
She was an active member of First English and St. John's Lutheran Church in Toledo, OH. Doris belonged to Hiawatha Sportsman Club in the Upper Peninsula where she enjoyed their cabin on Lake Millecoquin. She enjoyed sewing, fishing and playing cards. She was actively involved with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She enjoyed bowling and golfing with her best-friend and sister Lois.
She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Harriett Seibold; Sisters, Ruth Barnes, Lois Harvey; brothers, Paul, Donald & John Seibold, Husband, Marvin D. Parlette, Sr. and Son, Jeffery P. Parlette.
She will be missed by her Son, Marvin (Sharon) D. Parlette, Jr.; Daughter, Kristine L. Rupert, Grandchildren, Julie Yeater, Jennifer Wiese, Jeremy Parlette, Kimberly Growden, Emma Parlette, Tyler Parlette, Kayla Maurer, Christopher Rupert; Great-Grandchildren, Justin, Abby & Payton Yeater, Sean and Cameron Wiese, Gavin Growden and Amelia Jean Maurer on the way.
The family will receive guests on Friday, June 29, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. with a funeral service to begin at 11:00 a.m. at Newcomer Southwest Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo, OH 43614 (419) 381-1900. A graveside service will follow at Elliston Cemetery and a luncheon at St John's United Church-Christ.
