Doris Jean Lecso, a cherished wife, mother, and grandmother, passed away on January 30, 2025, in Sylvania, Ohio, at the age of 70. Born on March 13, 1954, in Meyersdale, Pennsylvania, Doris dedicated her life to caring for others, both in her professional career and in her beloved family life.
A Registered Nurse at Promedica Hospital in Toledo, Doris was known for her compassion, patience, and unwavering commitment to her patients. Her medical career was marked by a deep sense of duty and a steadfast desire to make a positive difference in the lives of those she served.
Outside of her professional endeavors, Doris found joy and fulfillment in her family. She was a devoted wife to her husband, Phillip A. Lecso, and a caring mother to her daughter, Abbey (Andrew) Dunn. Her most treasured moments came from spending time with her grandchildren, Margot and William, who brought immense joy to her life. Doris loved taking care of them and finding ways to create lasting memories through shared adventures and laughter.
An avid lover of the outdoors, Doris enjoyed riding her bike and exploring the beauty of nature. Her vibrant spirit and zest for life were evident in her many hobbies and interests, and she embraced each day with a smile and a grateful heart.
Doris is survived by her loving husband, Phillip; her daughter, Abbey, and son-in-law Andrew; and her treasured grandchildren, Margot and William. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Verdine Drabish, who instilled in her the values of kindness and dedication that she carried throughout her life.
