Doris Homer
Doris Homer, age 76, of Toledo, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2008 at Orchard Villa Nursing Home. She was born on June 26, 1931 to Roy and Elva (Gardner) Homer in Toledo. Doris was a longtime member of Good Shepherd Catholic Church. She was a beloved aunt and enjoyed spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death her brothers, Donald and Dale Homer and nephew, David Homer. Doris is survived by numerous nieces and nephews, great and great-great as well.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday, April 16, 2008 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider Heartland Hospice.
