Doris Anthony

Doris F. "Meema" Anthony, age 79 of Toledo passed away Monday, February 2, 2004 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio Inpatient Unit, Perrysburg. She was born November 30, 1924 to Melvin and Minnie (Reichart) Young in Toledo. Doris was employed with the former Lane Drug Co. and Libbey Glass for many years. She was also a member of The Lutheran Church of Our Saviour. Doris enjoyed working in her gardens filled with many colorful flowers and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Leonard "Tony" Anthony and brother, George Young. Doris is survived by her loving children, William (Darlene); Thomas (Mary) Anthony and Tami Meyers; siblings, Gertude Youngs; twinsister, Dora Fullington; Melvin Young; Joyce Jamison and Howard Young; 15 grandchildren and her first great grandchild.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will be Thursday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to the family.
