Donna Theiss

Donna J. Theiss, age 69, of Rossford, passed away Saturday, October 22, 2011 in her home. She was born on September 30, 1942 to James and Garland (Ora) Nicholson in Toledo. Donna was employed with UTMC, formerly known as MCO, for over 20 years until retiring. She was a devout Bible reader, enjoyed baking, being outdoors and boating. Donna had a heart of gold and was always taking care of others. She loved nothing more than spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Jeffery Ryan Theiss and infant brother, Jimmy Nicks. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Ron Theiss; sons, Ronald J. (Holly), David A. (Effi) and Brian L. (Peggy) Theiss; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the Jeffery Ryan Theiss Memorial Scholarship Fund at Owens Community College.
