Donna Spitler

Donna M. Spitler, age 63, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Friday, March 29, 2013 at the Toledo Hospital surrounded by her loving family. She was born October 18, 1949 in Toledo to Walter and Martha (Rode) Radde. Donna was a 1968 graduate of Bowsher High School. She was an Avon Representative for 20 years, and was the Kindergarten Assistant for Christ the King School and also served as the extended day director for 13 years. Donna had an annual Christmas Sale at her home, enjoyed going to garage sales, taking day trips with husband, Tom, to the Amish Country in Southern Ohio. She loved her pets, but the greatest love of her life was her family.

Left to cherish her memory is loving husband of 35 years, Thomas Spitler; son, Shawn (Jenn) Spitler; granddaughter, Courtney Taraschke; sister, Lois Radde; and special friend, Dorothy (Jean) Fry.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, April 2, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Highland Memory Gardens, Waterville, Ohio.
