Donna Mae Schroeder, age 84, of Toledo, passed away March 27, 2017 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born September 3, 1932 in Toledo to Lyle and Lucille (Fay) Leverenz. Donna enjoyed playing cards, but the greatest love of Donna's life was her family.
Donna is survived by her children, Steve (Karen) Hadley, Betty Cook, John (Peggy) Hadley, Brenda Wittenmyer, Leota (Arturo) Pedraza, John "Butch" (Joyce) Schroeder, Katherine Sue (Steve) Bowerski and John (Sandy) Schroeder, Jr.; 38 grandchildren; 49 great-grandchildren; brother, Jerry (Bev) Leverenz. In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husbands, Ike Hadley and John Schroeder, Sr.; sons, Donald Hadley and Denny Schroeder and siblings, Pat Howard and Fred Leverenz.
The family will receive guests, Friday, March 31, 2017 from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday, April 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Donna's memory.
