Donna R. Nusbaum

Nusbaum, Donna R., age 82 of Lambertville, Michigan, formerly of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully Monday, February 2, 2009 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. Before moving to Lambertville in 2006 to be near her daughter and son-in-law, Donna was a life-long resident of Toledo where she attended Waite high school. In 1942 she met the love of her life, Robert "Bob" Nusbaum; they were married two years later. Together, they raised two children, a son, Tim and a daughter, Robyn. Bob and Donna enjoyed boating for many years and Donna relished the many friends she met while cruising the Great Lakes. She was also an avid gardener for most of her life. In more recent times, Donna enjoyed playing cards with friends and visiting the horse track with her husband. Donna's hearty and infectious laugh brightened the day of her many friends through the years and she will be sorely missed by those who knew and loved her.

Donna is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Bob, her son, Tim and his spouse, Virginia of Boca Raton, Florida; her daughter, Robyn and her spouse, Guy Seymour of Temperance, Michigan; her sister, Martha Hakanson; her grandchildren, Holly and Shari, Brett and his spouse, Julie, Stacy and her spouse, Abe as well as, one great-grandchild, Emily, daughter of Brett and Julie.

Family and friends may visit Thursday, February 5th from 2 to 8 p.m. at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W Laskey Rd., (419-473-0300). Funeral services will be held Friday, February 6th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Toledo Memorial Park.
