Donna R. Kitchen

Donna R. Kitchen, age 83, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, August 10th, 2011 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born May 6th, 1928 to William J. and Rose A. (Donely) Bates in Toledo, Ohio. Donna attended Holland High School and was a longtime member of Hope Baptist Church. She enjoyed crafting and attending many craft shows over the years. Donna was also a talented seamstress, creating many beautiful keepsakes for her family to cherish.

In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her loving husband of 57 years, Frank Kitchen, Jr.; brothers, Russell Figley, William J. Bates, Jr. and Walter Figley; sisters, Celia Snyder and Ida Harwood and infant granddaughter, Erin Kimble. She is survived by her son, Russell A. (Linda) Kitchen; daughter, Janet (Brad) Kimble; grandchildren, Sarah (Mike) Tipton, Emily (Brad) Bell and Kelly Villerreal; great grandchildren, Ashley, Jordan, Olivia, Jessica, Michael and Madelynn and great grand-baby Tipton on the way. Donna is also survived by many dear friends.

Family and Friends are invited to gather on Saturday, August 13th, 2011 from 12-1:00 p.m. in the Chapel at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek, 2001 Perrysburg Holland Rd. Holland, OH. A Memorial Service to Celebrate Donna's life will begin at 1:00 p.m.
