Donna M. Piotraschke, age 94 of Toledo passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at Ebeid Hospice Residence with her loving husband by her side. She was born September 12, 1916 to Fred and Norma (O'Brien) Ammann in Toledo. Donna's true passion was caring for her family and putting their needs before her own. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren and her favorite past time was ballroom dancing.
Preceding her in death along with her parents were her son, Terry Piotraschke and grandson, Paul Piotraschke. Left to cherish her memory is her loving husband of 74 years, Delbert 'Del' Piotraschke; daughter, Sharron (Robert) Gyure; five grandchildren, Melissa (Ryan) Cassel, Steve (Carole) Goodnough, Scott (Amy) Goodnough, Jennifer (Greg) Redd and Kenneth Piotraschke; fourteen great-grandchildren and cousins, Virginia Ammann and Geri Ammann.
The family will receive guests Saturday from 10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. Funeral Services will begin in the funeral home on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.
