Donna J. Palan

Donna J. Palan, age 78, of Lambertville, MI, passed away peacefully Friday, April 20, 2018 at home with loving family by her side. She was born June 4, 1939 to Newman and Juanita Sliker in Toledo. Donna enjoyed sewing, crocheting, pretty punch and playing card games with her great-grandchildren. She also liked to garden, work in craft shows and spend time with family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Lyle C. Palan; siblings, Deloris Moore, Lewis Sliker, JoAnn Harding and Wanda Bunde. Donna is survived by her children, Dawn Palan, Denise Bojarski, Douglas (Cynthia) Palan, Duane Palan, Darla (Steve) Rutherford and Deanna (Brian) Winzeler; 11 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; siblings, Diana (Larry) Wise and James (Linda) Grosteffon; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, April 26, 2018 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Friday at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
