Donna Moine

Donna J. (Madlinski) Moine, age 82, of Toledo, passed away peacefully Tuesday, August 18, 2015 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on February 18, 1933 to Hank and Eva Shaw in Toledo. Donna especially loved music, travel and dance, being the first to pull out a kazoo and play along with the band. She loved good times spent with family and friends. Donna was a hard worker, managing her own franchised Sterling Store for many years. Later, she retired from the lamp dept. at Westgate Lion Store where she generated many lasting friendships and travel companions. Donna will most be remembered for her sense of humor and many kindnesses bestowed upon family and friends. She will also be remembered for being an avid animal lover. Donna will be dearly missed. Our Mother, Our Grama, Our Friend.

Donna is survived by her daughters, Gayle Vrooman and Lynn (Danny) Robarge; grandchildren, Chad (Velma), Stacie, Ashley (Adam), Rhonda (Bill), Terri (Bill) and Amy (Mike); great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Carter, Emma, Andrew, Daniel, Parker, Jake and Alan; and beloved kitty, Annie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Brent Madlinski and grandson, Christopher.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 4:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services and Interment will be Private.
