Donna M. Mack

Donna M. Mack, age 75, of Toledo, passed away suddenly, Thursday, December 18, 2008 at St. Luke's Hospital. She was born on November 25, 1933 to Arthur and Mildred Grimm in Toledo. Donna was the heart and soul of her family. She enjoyed quilting, reading, gardening and taking casino trips. In the 1960's she won a Pepsi sponsored contest, which allowed her 15 minutes of free shopping at the local A & P store. Donna will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her great-granddaughter, Desiree Hall-Martin. Donna is survived by her loving husband of 53 years, Raymond Mack; sister, Joyce (Bill) Bauman; daughter, Julie (Paul) Meister; sons, Daniel (Kathy) Mack and Police Sgt. Edward Mack; grandchildren, Matthew, Jessica, Amanda, Kathleen, Andrew, Jennifer, Anna, Amy and Tony; 10 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Monday from 2 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Tuesday at 10:00 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Church, 4555 North Haven, Toledo. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
