Donna M. Heminger, age 82, of Holland, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 at Lutheran Village at Wolf Creek. She was born on February 7, 1931 to Emery and Helen (Heer) Krueger in Toledo. Donna loved nothing more than the time spent with her family and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Gordon Heminger on January 28, 2013 and brother, Emery Krueger. Donna is survived by her son, Gordon (Debi) Heminger, Jr.; daughter, Sherri (Howard) Blakeman; grandchildren, Gordy III, Kasey (Jake Perkins) Rathburn, Nicole (Dave) Digby; Todd (Stephanie Reynolds) Blakeman and Greg (Whitney) Wasielewski; great-grandchildren, Cooper Rathburn, Natalie Digby and Parker, Reed and Peyton Wasielewski; brother, Jerry (Carol) Krueger; sisters, Marilyn Krueger and Ann Rubinson; sister-in-law, Bonnie Krueger; brothers-in-law, Marvin (Donna) and Forest (Delores) Heminger; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 5 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900).
Those wishing to make monetary donations are asked to consider the Toledo Humane Society.
