Donna M. Griss, 63, passed away on December 13, 2013. She was born on May 9, 1950 to the late Louise and Wilfred Duquette in Toledo, Ohio.
An avid animal lover, Donna enjoyed the companionship of a dashound, Little Dude, and two cats, Millie and Sweet Pea. She loved crafts, sewing and designing doll clothes.
In addition to her parents, Donna was preceded in death by her husband Larry and beloved golden retriever, Buddy. Left to cherish her memory is her son, Christopher; siblings, Catherine Duquette, Thomas (Patti) Duquette and Wilfred (Sheri) Duquette Jr; niece Michelle Lee-Elza (Ricky) cousin, Amy Papenfus-Boggs and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, December 21, 2013 from 1-3:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Memorial Service will begin at 3:00 p.m.
The family requests memorial donations be made to: Toledo Animal Shelter, 640 Wyman St., Toledo, OH 43609.
