Donna Jean Floriana

Donna Jean Floriana, age 85, of Jenison, MI, passed away peacefully Saturday, May 21, 2022 at University of Michigan Health West. She was born on July 25, 1936 to Paul and Bernice Puls. Donna married her soul mate, Ken, on May 18, 1958 in Toledo and together they celebrated 51 ½ years before his passing on November 23, 2010. Together they were both longtime members of Emmanuel Baptist Church where they were involved in the food pantry. They were also supporters at Emmanuel Christian School with the sports teams. Also in their spare time, Donna and Ken enjoyed cheering on their children and grandchildren at their sporting events.
After Ken's passing Donna moved up to live in Michigan near her son and daughter-in-law where she became involved at Chapel Pointe Church and the over 70's Group. She was a dedicated member of the Rainbow Girls, loved crocheting and made blankets for all of her loved ones. Donna also made many items she donated to hospitals and charities. A beautiful keepsake many will have to always remember her by. She loved watching cooking shows and trying their recipes and techniques. Donna's devotion to her family and friends will never be forgotten. She was an avid prayer warrior and will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.
In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Ralph, Clarabelle, Kenneth and Norman. Left to cherish Donna's memory are her loving sons, Keith Floriana and Kevin (Kristi) Floriana; grandchildren, Jordan Floriana, Ashley (Josh) Coleman, Kaley (John) Newis, Cassidy (Cody) Sellers, Caden, Tyler and Ryan; great-grandchildren, Emma, Dominic, Dexter and Braxton.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. at Emmanuel Baptist Church, 4207 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo with Funeral Services beginning at 11:00 a.m. in church. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
