Donna Douglas

Donna J. Douglas, died peacefully at her home, August 29, 2007 at the age of 87. She had been in the hispital a short time before going to a nursing home to re-coup after breaking 3 toes when falling out of bed. Donna had relied heavily on her scooter the past few years. Her greatest joy had been taking her grand-dog, Gracie for a ride to the back property. Donna married James Douglas and helped support him in the family businesses, the original Douglas Fence & Wire Company and Douglas Miracle Lanes until they closed in the 1970's. Years later, Donna and husband, James bought the Terrain Fence Company and ran it with thier two sons, until her husband James died in 1980.

Donna was preceded in death by her husband, James and sisters, Virginia Douglas and Gladys Trabbic. She is survived by her 2 sons, James (Sandy) and Dennis; grandchildren, Tara (David); Meagan (Robert) and Jamie (Denise); great grandchildren, Xavier and Zoe and of course, grand-dog, Gracie.

Donna requested to be cremated. There will be no visitation or services. Donna's remains will be buried at Toledo Memorial park.
