Donna Jean Browning, 88, of Maumee, passed away March 6, 2021 at Maple Lawn, Coldwater, MI. Donna was born November 10, 1932 in Toledo to Urcle "Dick" and Garnette Brown.
She attended Whitmer High School. Donna was employed with the Wood County Hospital for several years and then Gateway Middle School, Maumee.
Donna treasured the time she spent playing with her grandchildren, great and great-great-grandchildren. She loved her dogs, yard work, fishing and bingo. In her free time, Donna enjoyed going to the Grand Rapids Sportsman Club with her friends.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Walter (Cynthia) Browning III, Les (Sherry) Browning, Harold (Tammy) Browning, Lisa (Brett) Wansitler; grandchildren, Mark, Carrie, Mitchell, Jennifer, Eric, Travis, Sam, Sheila, and Terry; many great and great-great-grandchildren; and brother, Jerry Brown.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents; loving husband, Walter F. Browning Jr.; siblings, Harold, Evelyn, and Richard Brown.
The family will receive guests on Monday, March 15, 2021 from 9-11 a.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - Southwest Chapel, (419-381-1900) where Funeral Services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Ft. Meigs Cemetery, Perrysburg, OH.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Humane Society, Aspen Grove, Temperance, MI or Maple Lawn, Coldwater, MI in Donna's memory.
