Donald F. Zeisler

Donald F. "Don" Zeisler, age 73, of Toledo, passed away peacefully from Alzheimer's on Sunday, October 1, 2017 at Foundation Park Dementia Care Center. He was born on June 20, 1944 to Cyril and Thelma (Flatz) Zeisler in Toledo. Don worked for L.O.F., retiring in 1998 after 30 years of service. He married the love of his life in 1980, Darlene (Tober) Zeisler in St. Mark's Lutheran Church.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife of 37 years, Darlene; daughter, Connie (Jim) Sandford; grandsons, James and Jeffrey Sandford; sister, Joan (Gary) Parker, Doris (late husband, Dennis) Ratz, Patricia (Bryan) Couperthwaite and Carol (Curt) Alspaugh; sister in law, Karen Zeisler and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his infant son, Jeff Zeisler and brothers, Norman and Tom Zeisler.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, October 5, 2017 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. (Noon) at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home on Thursday at Noon. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.
