Donald E. Quisenberry, Sr.
December 31, 1934 — July 31, 2017
Donald E. Quisenberry, Sr., age 82, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio-Perrysburg surrounded by his loving family. He was born on December 31, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Donald (Teresa) Quisenberry Jr., Cassandra (Rudy) Kelly, Robin (Russell) Moll, Linda (John) McGranahan and Scott (Shawna) Quisenberry; sisters, Judy Reed and Gracie Wilson; 14 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Don was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Colnita; parents, Leah and Homer; siblings, Pauline Powell, Betty Jean Lotozinski, Catherine Beebee, Lorine Bridges, Homer Jr. and Carl Quisenberry.
Don retired from Roadway after over 20 years as a Truck Driver. He was a veteran of the U.S. Ohio Army National Guard. Don enjoyed golfing and football, especially the Detroit Lions. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs.
The family will receive guests on Sunday, August 6, 2017 from 12:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will begin at 5:00 p.m.
The family requests memorial donations in Don's name to be made to: Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
