Donald P. Aberl

Donald P. "Don" Aberl. Age 71, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg, surrounded by his loving family. He was born on March 26, 1942 to George and Agnes (McAlear) Aberl in Toledo. Don was a veteran of the U.S. military and served our country in the National Guard. He was employed with the DeVilbiss Company for 24.5 years and then AP Parts before retiring. Don was a car enthusiast of old cars. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed boating and lighthouses. Don will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Gill; and brothers, George and Robert Aberl. Don is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Emily (Lachowicz) Aberl; son, Donald (Rick Reed) Aberl, Jr.; daughter, Michelle Aberl; sister, Catherine (Marty) Regan; and many other relatives and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Saturday from 2 – 4:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Memorial Services will begin at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home.
