Donald N. Mousoulias

Donald N. "Donny" Mousoulias, age 38, of Sylvania, passed away Sunday, February 12, 2023 at Henry Ford Hospital with loving family by his side. He was born on May 31, 1984 to Donald and Susan (Szymanski) Mousoulias in Toledo. Donny graduated in 2003 from Central Catholic High School and attended Owens Community College. He worked as a welder for many years. Donny was an avid fan of the Michigan Wolverines, Detroit Red Wings, Detroit Lions and the Detroit Tigers. He enjoyed playing video games with his nephew, Brayden. Donny was an animal lover especially of dogs. He liked bowling with his cousin Erik, even having some 300 games. Donny loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He was a jokester, had a huge heart, and a smile that won't be forgotten. Donny's smile, spirit and caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Susan. Left to cherish Donny's memory are his loving father, Donald Mousoulias; sister, Rachel Mousoulias; nephews, Brayden and Nico; grandmother, Margie Szymanski; best friend, Ryan Lanz; canine companions, Daisy and Suzy; and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Sunday, February 19, 2023 from 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday, February 20, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home.
