Donald Mossing

Donald "Jay" Mossing, age 55 of Toledo passed away Thursday, November 25th, 2004 in his home. He was born November 14th, 1949 to Donald and Patricia (Nonnenmacher) Mossing in Toledo. Jay was a member of the Brick Layers Union Local 3 for 10 years and the UAW Local 14 through GM Powertrain for 20 years. He was also a U.S. Marine Veteran having served for 4 years. Jay was a devoted husband and father and also an avid photographer. Most importantly, Jay enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.



He was preceded in death by his parents. Jay is survived by his loving wife, Deborah (Crowne) Mossing; mother-in-law, Nina Crowne; children, Merrilee (Bart) Salsberry; Shannon Overton; Michael (Peggy) Luciano; Juan (Ginnie) Robles; Shari Robles and Matthew (Tracey) Robles; siblings, Judy Burlew; James (Bonnie) Mossing; Janine (Vincent) Vielhaber; Jeff (Marsha) Mossing; Jennifer (Rick) Johnson and Jeremy Mossing; 14 grandchildren and many dear friends.



The family will receive guests Tuesday from 1-7:30 p.m. in the Newcomer-Farley Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Tuesday evening at 7:30 p.m. followed by Military Services. Officiating will be Pastor John Perry. Memorial Contributions may be made to NW Ohio Hospice.
