Donald Kunke
July 22, 1926 — October 20, 2005
Donald F. Kunke, age 79, passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2005 in Lake Wales, Florida after a long illness. Don was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving in World War II and the Korean War. He retired from Conrail Railroad in 1989 and moved to Lake Wales, FL where he enjoyed his favorite hobbies: camping, gardening, bird watching, dancing, cards and being a clown.
He is preceded in death by his father Frederick and mother Susie, of Toledo. He leaves behind his wife of 60 years: Betty Kunke; daughters: Dianne (Jerry Anteau) Crosby, Suzanne (Mike DeMoe) Riggs, Louanne (Mike) Pelechaty and Rose (Charles) Laster; 10 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive guests Tuesday from 9-11:00 a.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will follow at 12:00 p.m. at Elliston Cemetery, Elliston, Ohio. The
