Donald J. Managhan, Sr.

Donald J. Managhan, Sr., age 77, of Toledo, Ohio passed away Sunday, May 26, 2013 in his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 2, 1936 in Wood County, Ohio to Samuel and Mabel (Hughes) Managhan, Sr. Don worked for the Toledo Zoo in the early 1970's and then worked as a mechanic for the City of Toledo for 25 years.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 51 years, Judith (Schreiber) Managhan; sons, Michael (Tonda), William "Ed," Donald Jr., Mark and Timothy (Amy) Managhan; daughter, Karen (John) Enis; 9 grandchildren and 1 great granddaughter. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his daughter, Anne Marie Managhan and 3 sisters and 5 brothers.

The family will receive guests Saturday, June 1, 2013 from 2:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Saturday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. The family requests memorial contributions to Heartland Hospice.
