Donald Gable

Donald Gable, age 50, was called home to God's house to be with his brother Brian on Monday, March 6, 2006 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Toledo. He was born December 9, 1955 to Donald and Barb Gable in Toledo, Ohio. Donald loved spending time with his family for parties and the holidays, playing euchre and listening to country music and rhythm & blues. He was a fun loving guy who was known by all who knew him as "Big Don". Don enjoyed remodeling his families and friends homes and also enjoyed detailing cars and motorcycles with his good friend, Scott Linet. He was an auxillary member of VFW #5530.

Don was preceded in death by his brother, Brian Gable (2/23/2004). He is survived by his son, Tim (fiancé, Brooke Sharp) and his mother, Kathy; parents, Don and Barb Gable; sisters, Bethann Wroblewski of Oregon, OH and Luann (Jim) Mravec of Pittsford, MI; loving brother and friend, Troy (Paula) Gable of Toledo; nephews, Victor Gable; Hunner and Tanner Mravec; niece, Brooke Gable and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

The family will receive guests Wednesday from 2-8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 9-11:00 a.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Thursday at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Pastor Lori Nichols.

The family wishes to thank Hospice of NW Ohio, especially Robin and Cynthia for the loving care and kindness
they provided for Don.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
