Donald J. Dartt, Jr.
Donald J. Dartt, Jr., age 47 of Toledo passed away Friday March 14, 2003 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio surrounded by his loving family. He was born May 3, 1955 to Donald and Carolyn (Mergler) Dartt, Sr. in Ft. Lewis, Washington. Don was a welder by trade. He was a 1973 graduate of Central Catholic High School and was involved with various school activities and sports. After graduating from high school, Don joined the US Army and was stationed with the Berlin Brigade in West Berlin, Germany. Don enjoyed the out of doors and was an avid skydiver, making many jumps throughout Ohio, Michigan and Indiana.
Don was preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving children; Rachel and Alex Dartt, parents; Don and Carolyn Dartt, Sr., siblings; Stephen (Pam) Dartt, Ellen Columber, Michael (Kathleen) Dartt, Christoper and Thomas Dartt, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family will receive guests Wednesday from 9-11:00 a.m. at Blessed Sacrament Church, 4227 Bellevue Road. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 a.m. Officiating will be Fr. Thomas Quinn. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery. In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
