Donald Joseph Danhauer, Sr.

Donald Joseph "Don" Danhauer, Sr., age 61, of Delta, Ohio passed away suddenly at his home on Friday, July 26 2019 with his wife, Sharron by his side. he was born on August 22, 1957 to Norman and Dolores (Smith) Danhauer in Toledo. Don graduated from Libbey High School, Class of 1975 and married the love of his life, Sharron (McCutcheon) Danhauer on January 31, 1978 in Toledo. He currently worked for G.B. Manufacturing in Delta and was an avid O.S.U Buckeye's, Dallas Cowboy's, N.Y. Yankee's and NASCAR fanatic. Ever since he was a young man he enjoyed bowling and bowled in various leagues in Toledo. Don looked forward to the family get-together's and providing for his family, above everything they were his pride and joy.

Left to cherish his memory is his loving wife of 41 years, Sharron Danhauer; children, Autumm (Chris) Weiss, Casey (Michael) Chorey, Donald J. "D.J." Danhauer, Jr. and Bryan Danhauer; precious grandchildren, Zoey, Michael Andrew Chorey, II "Mac," Dominic, Zachary and one expected grandson in January 2020; siblings, Betty (Tom) Beringer, twin brother, Ronald (Dorothy) Danhauer; brother in law, Marion Pruzynski; mother-in-law, Rosemary McCutcheon; nieces and nephew, Tomie (Ray), Sarah (Rodney) and Andy (Cassie). Don was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Norma Pruzynski and nephew, Adam Danhauer.

The family will receive guests on Monday, August 5, 2019 from 4-6:00 p.m. at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300) with his Funeral Service starting at 6:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

In Don's memory, memorial contributions may be made to any no-kill animal shelter.
