Donald E. Barteck, of Toledo, passed away June 4, 2017. Don was born May 6, 1935 to the late Francis and Marie Barteck.
Don enjoyed fishing at the family cottage at Sand Lake in Irish Hills. He worked for Duff Trucking Line as a dock worker for 30 years.
Left to cherish his memories is his loving wife of 60 years Joyce; children Rick (Vickie) Barteck, Dave (Debbie) Barteck; grandchildren, Bryan, Jennifer and Katelyn; great grandchildren, Trent, Ciara, Chloe, Brayden, William, Claire and Emma Grace; and many brothers, sisters, nieces and nephews. Preceding Don in death is his son, Glenn and grandson, Matthue.
Family will be receiving guests June 18, 2017 from 3-6:00 p.m. at Eleanor Kahle Senior Center, 1315 Hillcrest Avenue Toledo, for a "Celebration of Life".
In lieu of flowers, those who are wishing to make memorial contributions please consider Ebide Hospice.
