Donald A. Jacobsen

Donald A. Jacobsen, age 56, left this world to be with his mother on June 10, 2014. He was born on March 20, 1958 in Baltimore, Maryland.

Don was raised in Toledo and grew up off of Hill Avenue where he made many life-long friends. He joined the Army and earned the rank of Communication Sgt. Don worked for many years at P.B.L. Inc. as the Yard Manager. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Don was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Suzanne in September 2013. Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Carrie (Ken) Repass and Brenjha Jacobsen; wife, Sally; siblings, George (Barb), Bill (Michelle), Bob, Becky, Cindy (Jeff), Mike (Gayle), Alyce (Jerry) and Betty (Jim); very special granddaughters, Kayla and Mariah Repass and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Thursday, June 12, 2014 from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). The Funeral Service will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. Burial will take place at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park.

Memorial Contributions may be made to the family at any Huntington Bank to assist with funeral expenses.
