Dona M. Dye

Dona M. Dye, age 85, of Toledo, passed away March 25, 2019 at Kingston Care Center of Sylvania. Dona was born September 14, 1933 in Lulu, Michigan to Richard and Luella Barker. Dona was a member of Eagle Lodge, VFW Post 606 & Post 5303, and St. Clement Community Center. Dona was a wonderful mother and grandmother, she enjoyed playing bingo, collecting and wearing her crazy hats to bingo. She also enjoyed playing cards, especially poker.

In addition to her parents, Dona was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard M. Dye, her children, Bonnie Lee, Maurice Bowers and Dale Bowers; sister, Rose Timmings and twin brother, Donald Barker. She is survived by her children, Robert S. (Erika) Dye, Sandy McFadden, Ronald G.(Kimberly) Dye, Tina M. (Scott Meyers) Decker; grandchildren, Kerry McFadden, Melanie Bowers, Jamie DeWood, Kevin Bowers, Brian Malkowski, Nicki Eubank, Kristi Radwan, Brintty Dye, Brandee Houillon, Robert Dye, Jr., Ronald Dye, Jr., Shelli Decker, Amanda Dye, Shelbee Bowers, Harli Dye, Sabrina Dye; great grandchildren, Ezekiel, Jaden, Gavin, Holden, Joseph and Liam.

The family would like to thank her longtime companion and friend Jerry Oberski for being such a great friend and support to Dona.

The family will receive guests Sunday, March 31, 2019 from 2:00 pm - 6:00 pm at Newcomer - Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 10:00 am. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Lulu Cemetery Ida, Michigan .
