Don Warren Kinsey, age 78, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2008 in Hospice of Northwest Ohio, Perrysburg. He was born September 29, 1929 to Don Kermit and Dora Mae (Reeves) Kinsey in Ballville Township, Ohio. Warren was a U.S. Navy Veteran who served his country proudly. He was employed with the Fleischman Company for several years traveling throughout the world. More recently Warren was employed with the City of Toledo as a computer programmer for 10 years. Warren often spoke about his adventure of swimming in both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans on the same Christmas day in 1949. He also enjoyed saddle riding horses and traveling through Canada in his mobile home.
In addition to his parents, Warren was preceded in death by his sister, Doris Bahnsen. He is survived by his sisters, Barbara (Arthur) Lundgard of Fremont, OH and Marjorie (Keith) Wagner of Franklin, KY; brother, Roger R. Kinsey and former wife and dear friend and caregiver, Betty Kinsey and family and best friends, Ross and Blanche mcCormick and their children, Jenny & Ned.
A Memorial Service will be planned at a later date in Fremont, Ohio.
In lieu of flowers Memorial Contributions may be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
