Dominick B. Perretti
Dominick B. "Nicky" Perretti passed away peacefully on September 1, 2007 at Arbors of Sylvania in the presence of his loving family. Nicky was born on September 14, 1926 in Plainfield, New Jersey to Joseph and Eva (Yannacone) Perretti. He served in the U.S. Marines during World War II in Iwo Jima. After his discharge he moved to Toledo working for DeVilbiss Company. Nicky worked various delivery routes for Morgan Linen, Kuhlman Chips, Taystee Bread and Vernors. He was the caddy master at Sylvania Country Club. Nicky loved his family and spent many hours and days with them, especially his grandchildren. He loved his golf and the "9 hole in ones" made. Nicky belonged to the Retired Firefighters Golf League until he became ill. He was also an avid bowler. Nicky loved spending time at White Tower and Bob Evans meeting up with his friends.
Nicky is survived by his sons: Joseph (Stacey) and Randy (Lucy) Perretti; step-daughters: Sandi (David) Miller and Becky (Bruce) Garcia; grandchildren: Dominick, Jessica, Joey, Marcella; step-grandchildren: Jeff, Matt, Chris and Brandon; brothers: Clement and Robert (Judy) Perretti; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Joseph, mother, Eva, step-father, Thomas Lett, brother, Joseph, step-son, Richard Raczkowski, granddaughters, Marissa and Marena Perretti "God's Little Angels", sister-in-law, Sylvia Perretti.
The family will receive guests on Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 2 – 8:00 p.m. A Funeral Service will begin in the funeral home with prayers at 9:45 a.m. Wednesday followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena Parish, 4555 North Haven, Toledo. Officiating will be Fr. Gary R. Walters. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park.

The family would like to give a special thank you to Dr. Barry Conlan and all the staffs at Arbors of Sylvania, Whitehouse Country Manor and Southern Care Hospice for all of their loving care and support given to Nicky and his family throughout this difficult time.
