Dolores Staben
Dolores "Dee" Staben, 86, passed away on October 20th, 2011. She was born on July 15th, 1925 to the late Margaret and Matthew Hartmann in Chicago, Illinois.
In addition to her parents Dee was preceded in death by her loving husband, Carl W. Staben; siblings, Fr. Jerome Hartmann, Sr. Mariatta, Dr. Richard Hartmann and Don Hartmann. Left to cherish her memory are her children, Chris Prosen, Sue Richards, Chuck Staben; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Dee and Carl moved to their lake home in Effingham in 1981 upon retirement. They previously lived in Waukegan and Joliet, Illinois and Fox Point, Wisconsin. In Dee's later years she enjoyed looking out on Lake Sara while playing bridge with her friends from around the world.
A memorial service will be held in Effingham at a later date.
The family requests memorial donations to be made to Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
