Dolores Nowak, age 88, passed away on April 20, 2018. She was born on August 8, 1929 to the late Frank and Sophie Zawodny in Toledo, Ohio.
Dolores worked over the years at Westland Lanes, Schrader Tire and Oil and Przybylski Post 642. Her love was gardening and doing crafts, especially making decorations for events at the Post. But her real passion was babysitting her grandchildren. Those were the fondest memories for all of us
.
Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Christine (Rick) Reiger; son-in-law, Daniel Foster; grandchildren, Dedra (Breen P.) Lyden, Lauren (Ray) Worthington, Kelly (Cody) Wealleans and Jonathon Foster; great-grandchildren, Kennedy, Elliot, Lucas, Harper and one on the way. Dolores was preceded in death by her husband, Richard; daughter, Shirley Foster and brother, Frank Zawodny Jr.
The family would like to give a special thank you to the compassionate staff at Hospice of Northwest Ohio.
