Dolores A. Glowczewski

Dolores A. Glowczewski, age 87, of Perrysburg, passed away peacefully, Sunday, August 17, 2014 at St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center. She was born on March 13, 1927 to John and Anna (Wroblewski) Kubiak in Toledo. Dolores was a homemaker throughout her life. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and playing Bingo. Dolores loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard; daughter, Noreen December 2012; and two sisters, Delphine "Dolly" Gdowiak and Eva Jane Poddany. Dolores is survived by her loving sons, David (Mary Ann) and Gregory (Mary) Glowczewski; grandchildren, Jason (Julia) and Andrea Glowczewski; and great-grandchildren, Eva and Adam.

The family will receive guests on Wednesday from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900) with a Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place Thursday at 10:30 a.m. at St. Rose Catholic Church, 215 E. Front St., Perrysburg, Ohio. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution are asked to consider St. Rose Catholic Church, American Cancer Society, American Kidney Association or a charity of the donor's choice.

The family would like to give a special thank you to all of the staff and caregivers at the Manor of Perryburg, Davita Dialysis and to mom's aide, Kim Smith for all of their love, care and support given to Dolores and her family through this difficult time.
