Dillon Robert Wheeler left this world after a tragic accident on Monday, June 26, 2023. He was born on December 19, 1994 to Robert and Jennifer Wheeler (Robinson-Peluso) in Toledo, Ohio. He grew up in the Fulton/Lucas/Henry county area and attended Liberty Center Elementary, Anthony Wayne and Washington Jr. High Schools, and both Whitmer and Anthony Wayne High Schools. He graduated from Anthony Wayne High School in 2013.
Dillon loved cooking, and worked in the kitchens of several restaurants in the Toledo area. He loved music, shooting pool, gaming, cookouts and bonfires, motorcycles, his family, and his friends. Most of all, Dillon loved his twin girls, Ella and Macie.
He was preceded in death by his Grandparents, Shirley and Frank Meko and Clyde Wheeler Sr., his uncles, John Henry Pack, Clyde Wheeler Jr., James Collignon Jr., and Michael Wheeler Sr.; aunts, Faye and Jeanette Pack. Dillon is survived by his twin daughters, Ella Ann and Macie Mae Wheeler and their mother Ashley Kasefang; his parents, Jennifer Robinson and Robert Wheeler (Sarah Grebe); sisters, Beth (Dan) Harper, Christen (Sam McMurran) Wheeler, Sarah (Nate Leidy) Wheeler, brother, Michael Peluso; grandparents, James and Carol Robinson; nieces, Lydia Harper and Viviana Sword; nephew, Wyatt Harper; many cousins and friends including special sister, Brianna Larson; cousins, Michael Wheeler Jr. (Hannah) and Joshua Wheeler (Aly), and special brothers Trentin, Cash, Austin, Donny, Tyler, Alex, and Zach. He will be missed by all.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 from 12:00 p.m to 4:00 p.m. with a brief service held at 4:00, at Newcomer Funeral Home, 3655 King Rd. in Sylvania, Ohio. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the educational fund for Dillon's daughters, Ella and Macie Wheeler. An account is being set up for the fund at PNC Bank, and a benefit for the girls will be held this summer. (Details to come.)
