Dianne Szykowny

Dianne C. Szykowny, age 63, of Holland, Ohio passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 in the Ebeid Hospice. She was born September 30, 1949 in LaFollette, Tennessee to George Carl and Mary Helen Wilson. Dianne graduated from Penta Vocational Center in 1967 as a Dental Assistant. Dianne was employed as an inspection supervisor for 13 years for Chrysler-Jeep. She was a member of the Church of the Nazerene. Dianne enjoyed gardening, writing, reading, cross-word puzzles and playing Pogo. She loved animals especially her beloved dog "Buddy" and cats "Princess" and "Midnight."

Dianne is survived by her son, Rob (Roxanne) Clark, step-children, Al (Miriam) Szykowny and Todd (Kimberly) Szykowny; grandchildren, Anthony and Brett Clark, Naomi (Steve), Robert (Annette), Rusty, Cole and Rendy; siblings, Donna Bloom, Dennis Wilson, Debbie (Bob) Fitzgerald, Dolores (J.P.) Martinez and Darlene (Tom) Miller; sister-in-law, Gail Wilson; nephews, Cory (Jody), Mike (Leah), Denny (Teresa), Jamie, Tommy (Tina), Cody and Brady, Keiquan, Jason and Mason; nieces, Jenny (Goddaughter), Marriann, Alicia, Dara(Jay), Courtney, Alexis, Elaina and Payton; special friends, Jim and Kim and Godson, Davier. In addition to her husband, Robert "Bob" Szykowny and parents, Dianne was preceded in death by her brother, Danny Wilson.

The family will receive guests Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 2:00 – 7:00 p.m. in the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo, (419-381-1900). Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home.

The family requests memorial contributions to the Toledo Area Humane Society.
