Diane L. (Koehl) Walton
Diane L. (Koehl) Walton, age 58, of Toledo, passed away Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at her home. She was born January 24, 1950 to Leo and Florence (Litwinski) Koehl in Toledo. Diane was a devoted and loving wife and mother and a very proud grandmother, adoring her grandchildren. She cherished the time she was able to spend with her family and friends. Diane also enjoyed crafting of all kinds, especially for the holidays. She had a love for the water, enjoying boating and fishing with her Dad as a young girl. Diane was a longtime member of Christ the King Church.
She was preceded in death by her father Leo Koehl. Diane is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Arthur E. Walton, III of Toledo; son, Eric (Tara) Walton of Sylvania; grandchildren, Braydon and Tayvian Walton; mother, Florence Koehl; brothers, Jerry; John (Karen) and Ed (Dawn) Koehl; brother-in-law, Mark (Bonnie) Walton; nieces and nephews, Shawna; Joe (Trezza) and Jason Koehl, Andrea (Jamie) Keller and Brittney and Brian Koehl; Amy, Julie, Tom, Katie and Kristen Walton and many dear and special friends.
The family will receive guests Sunday from 2-8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Monday at 9:15 a.m. in the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. at Christ the King Church, 4100 Harvest Lane. Officiating will be Fr. Dominic Savyo. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the charity of the donor's choice.
