Diane M. Slupecki

Diane M. Slupecki, age 56, of Toledo, passed away March 2, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio Toledo after a courageous battle with cancer the last 2 years. Diane was born April 14, 1959 in Toledo to John and Eileen (Chambers) Slupecki. She was employed with the Heartland at Waterville for many years. Diane was a loving and generous Aunt who loved spending time with her family, especially going to her nieces and nephews sporting events. Diane loved cheering on her favorite college football team, Notre Dame Fighting Irish.

Diane was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lester and Mary Chambers and John and Lillian Slupecki. She is survived by her parents, John and Eileen Slupecki, sisters, Karen (Bob) Kupetz, Patti (Dan) Fought, Kathy Slupecki, brother John Slupecki and nieces and nephews JJ (Jen), Tori (Nik), Mandi (Kyle), Kasey, Cameron, Tara, and Megan.

The family will receive guests Monday, March 7, 2016 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Newcomer Funeral Home - NW Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd. (419-473-0300). with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 p.m. A Mass of Celebration will begin at 10:00 am Tuesday at St. Clement's Church.

Diane's family would like to say a special thank you to Dr. Garth Phibbs and his team for their special care the last 2 years.
