Diane Krohn

Diane Krohn, age 81, of Toledo, passed away Thursday, February 11, 2021 at the Franciscan Care Center. She was born on May 13, 1939 to Lowell and Helen (Rokicki) Strausbaugh in Toledo. Diane was an avid sports fan, especially of football and baseball. Her favorite baseball teams were the Detroit Tigers and Toledo Mud Hens. Diane enjoyed taking shopping trips with her daughters. Her smile, spirit and sweet caring nature will truly be missed by all who knew and loved her.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Strausbaugh. Diane is survived by her children, Kathleen (Jeff) Prange, David (Kerstin) Krohn, Michael Krohn and Terri Guy; grandchildren, Shannon Leonard, Shane Guy and Amber Guy; sister, Sue Newton; sister-in-law, Ursula Strausbaugh; and many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

The family will receive guests on Tuesday. February 16, 2021 from 4 – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home – Northwest Chapel, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300). Funeral Services will begin Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow in Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. (For the safety of the Krohn family and their guests, masks are required with social distancing).
