Diana (Reynolds) (Russell) Romer was born on 3/23/1946 to the late Chester and Juanita (Potter) Reynolds in Gatliff, Kentucky. She went to be with the Lord on 1/21/2018, after spending the day with her family and peacefully passed away in her sleep with her son Jake at her side, after a long battle with cancer.
Diana's faith and relationship with God were very important to her and she would often tell others about her faith and how blessed she was. She felt her biggest blessing was her family and friends. She loved her large family of siblings, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews and loved following all of them on Facebook everyday. Her examples of Faith and Love through any struggles she had in her life and especially with her final battle with cancer will leave anyone she touched to be forever changed and be truly blessed by knowing her.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester Reynolds and Juanita (Potter) Reynolds; first husband, Gary Russell; second husband, Bruce Romer; son-in-law, Bob Shepherd; brother-in-law, Donald Schermbeck; sister-in-law, Carol Russell.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Darryl (Diana) Russell, Gary "Jake" (Debbie) Russell, Dawn Shepherd, Paula (Tom) Jahns and Wendy (Bill) Klocinski; sister, Aundrea (Dennis) Otersen; brothers, Chester (Tina) Reynolds and Edward (Ruby) Reynolds; sister-in-law, Barb Schermbeck; brother-in-law, Dave Russell and Lee (Sara) Russell; grandchildren, Riley Shepherd, Gary Jr. (Amber) Russell, Heather (Todd) Dunmore, Amanda Russell, Taylor Spaw, Dylan Jahns, Emily Jahns, Kodi Klocinski, Arkadia Klocinski; great-grandchildren, Natalie Dunmore, Julius Russell, Jazlynn Russell, Adalynn Monhollen and numerous close nieces and nephews.
The family will receive guests on Saturday, January 27, 2018 from 2-5:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home - SW Chapel, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd. (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin at 5:00 p.m.
