Diana Lee Bialecki

Diana Lee Bialecki, age 68, of Holland, Ohio, passed away suddenly May 23, 2015 at The Toledo Hospital. She was born May 8, 1947 in Toledo, Ohio to Giles and Mildred (Russell) Smelser. Diana loved cooking, canning, gardening, boating, fishing and recipe hunting. She enjoyed reading the "Bend of the River" magazine; traveling and going to various restaurants to enjoy new cuisine. Diana never forgot a holiday with a handwritten letter and card. She also enjoyed staying in contact with family and friends on Facebook.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Stephen A. Bialecki who passed away in October of 2007; her loving husband, Robert J. "Bob" Bialecki who passed away June 18, 2008 and siblings, Carol Willet, Olive Williamson and Gleneva Hart. Diana is survived by her sons, Timothy L. (Debra), Dennis B. and Ronald J. (Tina) Bialecki; grandchildren, Holly (Chris), Tim Jr., Abraham, Crystal (Justin), Chrissy, Tiffiny (Jordan), Heather, Nicole and Sammy and siblings, Robert Smelser and Alma Scott.

The family will receive guests, Thursday, May 28, 2015 and Friday, May 29, 2015 from 2:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4752 Heatherdowns Blvd., Toledo (419-381-1900). Funeral Services will begin Saturday, May 30, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
