Dennis Miller

Dennis "Denny" Miller, age 72, of Toledo, passed away Friday, December 23, 2016 at St. Anne Mercy Hospital surrounded by his loving family. He was born on February 16, 1944 to Harvey and Marjorie (Ellis) Miller in Monroe, Michigan. Denny was a veteran of the U.S. Army serving his country in the Vietnam War. He was employed with the Lucas County Sheriff's Department for over 30 years until retiring. Denny enjoyed fishing, Cleveland Indians baseball and was an avid fan of the Buckeyes. He loved nothing more than the time spent with his family, including his grand pups, always looking forward to Sunday dinners at home.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, Peggy Miller; children, Bradley and Megan Miller; granddaughter, Lauren; siblings, Larry Miller and Janet (David) Bushong; family member, Donald VanSickle; and many other dear family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Memorial Services will take place on Friday at 3:00 p.m. at Hopewell Wesleyan Christian Church, 1550 W. Alexis Rd., Toledo 43612 with a gathering to follow after services. Officiating will be Rev. Jerry Craig, cousin. The Newcomer Funeral Home – NW Chapel (419-473-0300) assisted the family with professional services.
