Dennis Lehman, Sr.

Dennis S. Lehman, Sr., age 55, of Toledo, passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2006. He was born on January 3, 1951 to Don and Beulah Lehman. Dennis was a service technician for Ohio Bell for 24 years retiring in 1993. He was the past President of CWA Local #4319. Dennis enjoyed camping, bowling and amateur radio. He also had a strong passion for fish, owning several tropical fish stores.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Beulah, step-mother, Rosemary and nephew, Jamie Culp. Dennis is survived by his children: Jennifer Hooker, Dennis Jr., Jason and Kyle Lehman; grandchildren: Brady, Katie and Rayanne; father: Don Lehman; siblings: Linda Culp, Donna (James) Parker, Brian (Cathy) Lehman and Cheryl (Dean) Creighton; step-brother: Larry (Kim) Bowers; and many nieces and nephews.

The family will receive guests on Friday, March 3, 2006 at the Newcomer Funeral Home, 4150 W. Laskey Rd., Toledo (419-473-0300) from 3 – 8:00 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 – 11:00 a.m. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Toledo Memorial Park. Officiating will be Preacher Bob Manuel.

In lieu of flowers, those wishing to make contributions are asked to consider the American Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
